A Silver Alert was issued for 75-year-old Mahlon Presby of Phillips Tuesday afternoon after he failed to show up at his niece’s house on Rangely Road in Avon.

Motorists in New Sharon were met with icy conditions Friday morning, which led to multiple accidents along one particular stretch of road.
