Suspect Shot During Dover-Foxcroft Attempted Robbery
Dover-Foxcroft Police say a suspect was shot during a robbery attempt at a local store.
Police were called to the Store 'n More business on Summer Street on Wednesday, for a report of a robbery in progress. Once the officers arrived, they learned that the male suspect had sustained a gunshot wound. He was transported to Northern Light Mayo Hospital for treatment. Police have not released the suspect's name or the extent of his injuries. There's also no word on who shot the man.
This incident remains under investigation by the Dover-Foxcroft Police Department, with assistance from the Piscataquis County Sheriff's Office and the Maine State Warden Service.
