A Silver Alert has been issued for an 81-year-old man from Bridgton, who has dementia.

UPDATE: Police say Mr. Mollins has been found and is safe. 

Maine Department of Public Safety spokesperson Shannon Moss says Frank Mollins has been missing since approximately 8:00 Tuesday night. He was last seen on High Street in Bridgton, driving a black 2011 Chevy Malibu. The car has Maine Veteran License Plate 33375.

Mollins is described as a white male, 5'8" tall, 160 pounds, with white hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing blue Dickie work pants and a long sleeve shirt.

Police say he may be traveling to Long Island, New York or to Moultonborough, New Hampshire, where he used to have family. He also currently has family in Presque Isle. Officials say it's not clear where he was headed when he left his home on Tuesday night.

Anyone who sees Mollins and/or his vehicle, or who has information pertaining to his whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the Bridgton Police Department at 207-893-2810.
