Riley Green has denied speculation that his unreleased song “POS Like Me” is a response to Megan Moroney’s “Who Hurt You?”

In a Billboard digital cover story published May 28th, Green said he wrote the song about six months earlier and that posting it the same day Moroney released Cloud 9 was just a coincidence.

The unreleased song includes lyrics about being blamed for lying and cheating, while fans have also speculated that Moroney’s “Who Hurt You?” may reference Green.

Listeners pointed to lyrics mentioning Alabama, rumors about veneers, and alleged sightings with younger women as reasons for the speculation.

Riley Green is bringing his ‘Cowboy As It Gets Tour 2026’ to the Maine Savings Amphitheater in Bangor on August 15th.

The show will also feature special guests Justin Moore, Zach John King, and Hannah McFarland.
