Police Presence at Home on Kennebec Road in Hampden

Hampden and Maine State Police are investigating the death of an elderly woman on the Kennebec Road, and have taken her husband to the hospital.

Department of Public Safety spokesman Steve McCausland says the woman's body was found Tuesday morning at her home. Her husband was found unresponsive, and was taken by ambulance to Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center.

Detectives are on the scene, as they investigate the circumstances.
