The body of an Orland man, who went missing while his Orland house burned, has been located.

The State Fire Marshal's Office says the fire was reported at around 5:30 Monday evening on the Winkumpaugh Road. Initially, all five residents made it out of the house safely, but one man told the others he was going to look for his missing dog. His body was located this morning in the basement rubble of the burned-out home. Officials have not released the man's identity.

Fire flattened the one story ranch-style house into the basement. A team of investigators will work to determine how the fire started.

We'll update this story as more details become available.
