The Maine Marine Patrol has released the identify of a fisherman who died in Port Clyde Harbor Friday.
Officials say the body of 54-year-old Travis Thorbjornson of Warren was recovered at approximately 9:00 Friday night. Earlier in the evening, the Marine Patrol has received a report that Thorbjornson's skiff was found adrift in the harbor, with no one on board. A search was launched with members of the Marine Patrol, Knox County Sheriff's Office, local fire and EMS services, the U.S. Coast Guard, and a large group of local fishermen and residents.
Thorbjornson's body was transported to the Medical Examiner's Office in Augusta for an autopsy. The incident remains under investigation by the Maine Marine Patrol.
