No Details Will Be Released Of Bangor Double Homicide
A judge has granted a request to seal the affidavits in a Bangor double homicide case, preventing any details about the case from being revealed before it goes to trial.
It was the initial court appearance for murder suspect, John De St. Croix, who's accused of killing 43-year-old Michael Bridges and 36-year-old Desiree York. Their bodies were found inside a burning delivery truck in the Penobscot Plaza's parking lot last week.
Police have not revealed how the couple died. Bangor police say they believe the victims were acquainted with De St. Croix.
Officials have said that the victims were homeless and that the truck was located in an area, under the Penobscot Bridge, that's frequented by Bangor's homeless population. The 25-year-old murder suspect is ordered held at the Penobscot County Jail without bail.
