Bangor BMV Closed Thursday, Friday; Reopens Monday At ‘Bigger, Brighter’ Location

Well, there goes more than 25 years.

When in Bangor and going to the Bureau of Motor Vehicles you will not be going to Airport Mall any longer. Lots of memories, but they are "moving on up" the road.

The new expanded location is at 396 Griffin Road. That's not very far from the now-closed location. The BMV is in the former DHHS. building beginning Monday, Jan. 31.

A ribbon-cutting makes it official on Tuesday, Feb. 1.

In case you missed it, Maine Secretary of State Shenna Bellows called int he Q106.5 Morning Show yesterday to talk about the move to the 'bigger, brighter" location.
