Motorcyclist Killed In Auburn Crash

A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with two other vehicles in Auburn.

WGME-TV reports 24-year-old Andrew Jennings of Mechanic Falls was killed as he was passing other vehicles at a high rate of speed on his motorcycle. Saturday afternoon on Minot Avenue, Jennings bike struck a westbound vehicle, driven by 65-year-old Gina Thompson of Sabattus. Jennings was then struck by another westbound vehicle, driven by 41-year-old Bobby Thibodeau of Mechanic Falls.

Jennings was pronounced dead at the scene. Thompson was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries while Thibodeau wasn't hurt in the accident.

Police say Jennings did not have a motorcycle endorsement and his license was under suspension.
