Look Out For The Moon and More Tonight in Eastern Maine
Remember the song from ‘Hair’?
When the moon is in the seventh house
And jupiter aligns with mars
Then peace will guide the planets
And love will steer the stars
This is the dawning of the age of aquarius
Well, the moon will be in the sky tonight. With a couple of guests.

The moon in the 7th house has to do with horoscopes, and means
you only feel emotionally satisfied when you are in a romantic relationship.
And tonight, fingers crossed it’s clear enough to see the moon in the Eastern Maine sky, because if so we’ll be able to see an astrological event.
Jupiter, Saturn and Venus will be visible most of this month, but tonight the crescent moon will fall in line with those three planets. So put away your Uranus jokes and take a peek into the southwestern sky after nightfall.
Here is Jupiter:
Saturn:
and Venus:
Sorry. I should stick to the Uranus jokes.
This celestial alignment will be visible around the world, but in so many places because of light pollution it is not the same as we get to see when we step outside in Maine tonight.
We just need it to be cloud-free for the free view.
Please if that doesn’t happen don’t shoot the messenger. Our friend Todd Simcox only forecasts the weather, he hasn’t got the power to grant wishes and make changes to the actual weather. Not yet anyway.
We might also see some leftover meteors from the recent Geminid meteor shower streaking through the sky.
Set an alarm on your phone if you have to, to get outside and take a look at this rare occurrence.
