Massachusetts Woman Dies in Lyman Motorcycle Crash
A Massachusetts woman died Saturday when a motorcycle on which she was a passenger crashed in Lyman.
The motorcycle was driven by 51-year-old Gerald Gibson of Sanford, Maine. 50-year-old Anne Stout of Maynard Massachusetts was on the back of the bike when it traveled onto the soft shoulder, while traveling north on the Old Berwick Road, at around 11:30 Saturday morning.

Police say Stout was ejected from the motorcycle when it crashed into a small ditch. She died at the scene. Gibson sustained minor injuries and was transported to Maine Medical Center.
Officials say neither rider was wearing a helmet.
