Mary Chapin Carpenter, Tenille Townes To Open For Sugarland

A big show just got bigger. Mary Chapin Carpenter and Tenille Townes will open for Sugaland in Bangor this summer.

Country duo Sugarland will perform in Bangor, July 18. The newly announced opening acts are Mary Chapin Carpenter, and rising country star Tenille Townes.

The show is part of the 2020 Country Megaticket, which includes tickets to Sugarland and three other shows -- Luke Bryan, Thomas Rhett and Lady Antebellum -- at Darling's Waterfront Pavilion.

Individual ticket sales for the Sugarland show has yet to be announced.

Mary Chapin Carpenter will tour Maine after her show with Surgarland in Bangor. Her tour schedule includes two dates at Stone Mountain Arts Center in Brownfield, Aug. 11 and 12. She'll then perform in Portland, Aug. 14, at the State Theatre.
