Some people chose to make the best of the crappy weather on Sunday & Monday

What a storm! The state of Maine got walloped with some pretty intense snow the last two days. It turns out that our buddy Todd Simcox. from Channel 5, was right on the money with his snowfall predictions.

And as someone who attempts to navigate the roads around town very early in the morning, I have to give a tip of the cap to all the City of Bangor & Brewer road crews for doing an incredible job getting things cleaned up!

Here in Penobscot County some pretty big amounts fell:

Etna 17.2 in
Carmel 17.0 in
Hampden 15.0 in
Hermon 15.0 in
Brewer 13.6 in
Bangor 12.8 in
Veazie 8.2 in

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but there is more pesky weather on the way on Wednesday night into Thursday:

WEDNESDAY: Increasing clouds with snow arriving after sunset. Highs in the 20s.

THURSDAY: Snow for the far north. Elsewhere, snow will change to a mix and eventually all rain. Highs will range from the mid 30s to the mid 40s.

As we all begin to dig out, them wait for whatever comes our way next, let's take a look at some fun videos that were posted to social media, on Reddit, TikTok, and YouTube from all over Maine.

People and pets all seemed to enjoy it...for the most part!
