Run or Walk for RMHC of Maine This Saturday

There is still time to register for the annual 5K hosted by Ronald McDonald House Charities of Maine, dedicated to supporting families in need. Here is a perfect example of how vital donations are, such as the registration fee. A day of fun, exercise, and community can keep a struggling family together during their most desperate time.

With a close eye on the weather, the 5K will take place at Husson University in Bangor, ME, this Saturday, August 10th, at 9:30am. Hopefully, most of the rain from that nuisance of a tropical storm will clear out by race time. Regardless, the desperate need to support families with an ill or injured loved one doesn't change for the weather. Click here to register for this fun, and beneficial run/walk.

All participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt, and enjoy a delicious BBQ lunch, making it a day to remember for a great cause. Whether you're an avid runner or prefer a leisurely stroll, our 5K run/walk welcomes participants of all abilities. Additionally, there will be a special kids fun run, ensuring that there's something for everyone in the family to enjoy.

The 5K run or walk is only a $45 donation. You can also take part in a virtual race for $45 as well. There is a separate kids run and walk that only requires a $10 donation. Every registration and fee goes directly to supporting families here in Maine who may need to utilize the Ronald McDonald House.
