
Maine Sheriff Invites You To Vote For Beautiful Fall Photos
The Penobscot County Sheriff's Office is once again inviting people to vote in its Fall Photo Contest.
Penobscot County, Maine, Sheriff's Deputies Compete in Photo Contest
No one sees more of Penobscot County than the members of the Sheriff's Department. They drive to every corner of the region, down private roads, and into remote areas where most of us will never go.

During those travels, they see things that I'm sure stay with them forever, and not always in a good way.
So this contest is awesome on several levels.
Maine Residents Can Vote in the Penobscot County Sheriff's Department Photo Contest
It brings residents to the department's Facebook page and helps cast a different light on the people in the white cruisers we hope not to see in our rearview mirrors.
It gives PCSO personnel a chance to showcase some of the beautiful spots they visit every day.

And it provides a positive, fun way for the photographers to compete, and for the public to interact.
All the pictures, and there are many more than I've shared here, are posted on the Penobscot County Sheriff's Office Facebook page.

With the leaves mostly gone, it's fun to sit and look at all of these picturesque photos.
Thanks to the members of the Penobscot County Sheriff's Office for all they do every day to keep our communities safe. It's nice to know that, in the midst of the chaos, you're able to find some beauty.
