On tour, it's all about trying to find fun ways to kill some time.

Imagine your job is being a big country star like Luke Combs. In reality, traveling aside, you only "work" about 2 hours a day, maybe? Not to say that what Luke Combs does isn't hard work, but for real... his work day is pretty short. As someone who's spent their fair share of time on the road over the years, finding things to do is absolutely key.

When your workday is only two hours long, it leaves you with a lot of time to kill. So, what if Luke Combs decided he was going to spend his down time in Bangor doing "comb related" activities? What would those look like? Would he do them alone? Let's take a look at how Luke Combs could spend his day.

Obviously, Luke Combs could buy a comb.

There are tons of places where he could buy one, or dozens, of combs. He could head to a Dollar General, a Walgreens, or even Target or Walmart. Once he had the comb or combs, there's all sorts of other things he could do with them that sound much more creative.

Apparently, a comb can make a pretty unique form of paintbrush. If he were to put it in his little rider/list of backstage demands, they could probably provide him with all sorts of paints and paper or canvas. He's already got the combs that he bought earlier. So now he could use a few to create some art!

Much like the whole painting thing, Luke Combs could also try his hand at sand art. It could be a total Mr. Miyagi kind of deal. He could use the opportunity to really channel his inner peace and find his most zen spot. How bad could that be before hitting the stage in front several thousand people?!

He could "comb" through one of our many local stores.

Why not take a jaunt through downtown? He literally looks like most people from around hear, with his badass beard and trucker hat. His Ford F-150 could be right outside, right? But he could "comb" through any of our local record stores, antique stores, or beer stores. There's many local spots he could "comb" through looking for something to do.

He could hang out and comb his beard with fans.

This sounds kind of like a Meet & Greet, but a little hairier. Would he just comb it in front of them? Would Luke Combs let fans comb Luke Combs beard? If he bought a bunch of combs in the beginning, he'll have plenty to share at his Comb & Greet. Or would that be a Meet & Comb? Hard to say. But I'm pretty sure we just killed a whole day with these ideas. Someone really needs to get this to Luke Combs, stat.
