While we can never truly do enough to thank our veterans, a recent report listed Maine as one of the best states for taking care of them.

To determine the best states for disabled veterans, SmileHub compared all 50 states across three key areas: Health & Rehabilitation Access, Infrastructure & Community Support, and Economic Stability & Long-Term Security. Using 22 weighted metrics scored on a 100-point scale, they calculated each state’s overall average to create the final rankings.
