Cops Say Drugs, Guns & Money Found In A Safe Inside RV Parked At Hermon Business Friday

Authorities say they found a significant quantity of drugs, guns, and money locked inside an RV that was parked at a Hermon business.

According to the Penobscot County Sheriff's Office, law enforcement agents got word that a 37-year-old transient woman named Kristina Andrews, who was on probation for Unlawful Trafficking of Scheduled Drugs, may have been involved with something that violated a condition of her probation. Andrews was legally subject to law enforcement searches based on her probation.

As they were searching the RV she was staying in Friday morning around 11, the Sheriff's Office says deputies located 2 safes inside the vehicle. Andrews and her companion were unwilling to unlock the safes, which made authorities very suspicious of their contents.

They took the safes as part of the investigation, as they had probable cause to believe they might contain illegal substances, and with the help of the Bangor Fire Department, were able to gain access to what was inside.

"On August 23, 2026, with the assistance of the Bangor Fire Department, deputies forced open the safes. Inside, they located approximately 150 gross grams (combined weight) of fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, and MDMA. Also recovered were a handgun, a realistic-looking BB gun, and approximately $3,500 in cash believed to be proceeds of drug trafficking."

Andrews was once again arrested. She will face additional charges of Possession of a Firearm and Unlawful Possession of Scheduled drugs, along with another aggravated unlawful trafficking drug charge to her list.

Authorities say they are still looking into the matter and expect to make other arrests related to this case.

They did note that the business where the RV was parked cooperated fully with the Sheriff's Department during the incident.
