The concert was announced earlier this week.  Hootie & The Blowfish, coming to Bangor Friday June 14, 2024.  We all know that lead singer’s voice well.  Darius Rucker is once again fronting Hootie & the Blowfish.

When Hootie & The Blowfish went on hiatus in 2009, Darius Rucker went solo and released one of the biggest songs ever in country music.  Wagon Wheel. It sold over 10 million copies getting Darius’ solo career off to a stellar start.

But Darius always made sure everyone knew that the group never broke up.  He just wanted to get his solo country career going.
