The Maine National Guard on Tuesday, May 12 will be a part of a nationwide salute called Operation American Resolve to those on the front line of the coronavirus pandemic, including healthcare professionals and essential workers combating the disease.

A Facebook post from the Maine National Guard was released on May 8 sharing the details of the event.

A KC-135 aircraft from the 101st Air Refueling Wing in Bangor will conduct the flyover, which will stretch from the town of Jay, north to Presque Isle and then back to Bangor.

If you see this special flyover, film it and put it on social media with the hashtags #MEGuardAtWork and #AirForceSalutes.
