Hampden Academy’s Music Association (HAMA) is raising money to send their jazz vocal and jazz instrumental groups to Florida in April of 2022. They aren’t going to Florida for the beaches, although here’s hoping there is some free time for some fun in the sun too, but the purpose is to perform, be judged and attend music workshops. At the STARS Performance Program at Universal Studios.

Tomorrow night, Moe’s Barbecue on Broadway in Bangor will generously donate 10% of sales to the cause. Who doesn’t love Moe’s? Zero contact ordering and pick up with no physical customer interaction. The guy in the window has the longest arm around. Take the night off from cooking on Thursday for a win win situation. Win for you. Win for HAMA.

Other ways that Hampden Academy Music Association is raising money for the Florida event is a silent auction to take place in early summer. They are currently collecting items. You can reach out to HAMA President Nancy Fenders on the Hampden Academy Music Association Facebook page. Would anyone donate to co-host the Q106.5 Morning Show some morning soon?

Someone you love having a Birthday coming up. How about Flamingo Flocking?  For a minimum donation, HAMA will place a flock of flamingos on someone’s lawn for a 2 day program.  Information as details become available here.

Musician or not, you can imagine what the experience of traveling to Florida to compete would mean to you. Go Broncos
