Since I was born in Nova Scotia I will share this with you.

Gracie Theatre is bringing a Celtic Christmas Concert to Bangor area homes. The concert features COIG, one of Atlantic Canada’s premier Celtic musical groups. 3 of the 4 performers are from Nova Scotia. I left when I was 6 months old, but went back every single summer until I was 16. Then back a few times as an adult. If you love Maine, you’d love Nova Scotia. Same down to earth, can’t do enough for you people. Great setting. And lots of similar traditions like in Maine.

Back to the concert. It’s through Husson University’s Gracie Theatre from December 13th to the 15th. But it’s a virtual holiday performance. Of course it is, it’s 2020.

Tickets for the Christmas concert performance are only $20 per household. Here’s where to purchase your ticket.

It's also a fund-raiser. COIG has partnered with Husson to support struggling college students during the pandemic. The Food Insecurity and Emergency Fund helps students  If you’d like to make a donation, here’s that link.

Dust off the fiddle and get ready to step beginning Sunday.
