A Gorham man is facing charges after allegedly brandishing a gun during an altercation with his girlfriend and her mother.

Scarborough Police were called to the Scarborough Gardens Apartments just after 1:00 on Wednesday, to a report of a man with a gun, who was involved in a disturbance with some other people. When officers arrived, they learned that 19-year-old Gabriel DiBacco had been arguing with the two women.

DiBacco briefly barricaded himself in the residence at 90 Broadturn Road before surrendering to police. He's been charged with criminal threatening with a firearm and assault. Officials say the investigation is ongoing and more charges are possible.
