GameStop is launching its first-ever ‘Trade Anything Day’ on Saturday, December 6th, where customers can bring in an item and trade it for store credit.
The chain has set a limit of one item per person and requires that the item fits in a 20×20×20 box. Additionally, GameStop hasn’t said how trade-in values will be determined yet, but the company says official guidance is coming soon.

GameStop has a long list of items that cannot be traded in, including hazardous materials, weapons, alcohol or drugs, gift cards, explicit items, and anything resembling body parts.
They also won’t accept most computers, small electronics, machines like printers or scanners, items with lithium-ion batteries, animals, or anything an employee decides to reject at their discretion.

And there you have it! GameStop stores in Maine are getting ready for Saturday, December 6th, and their ‘Trade Anything Day.’
