In an exciting announcement for country music fans, Gabby Barrett took to her social media platforms on Wednesday afternoon to give a sneak peek of her highly anticipated upcoming single, "Glory Days." The track will serve as the leading single for Barrett's forthcoming sophomore album, which is yet to be titled or given a release date.

Folks won't have to wait long to hear the new song, as Barrett confirmed that "Glory Days" is set to be released on June 9th.

The following day, June 23rd, Barrett will continue her quick tour of New England with a show at the iconic Fenway Park in Boston. That show will not only feature Kane Brown, Gabby Barrett, and Restless Road, but Darius Rucker will also be on the card.

Furthermore, Barrett had the opportunity to open for country superstar Thomas Rhett on his "Center Point Road Tour" in 2021. I attended the Bangor stop of this tour, where she unsurprisingly delivered a spectacular performance.

Barrett's rise to stardom has been nothing short of extraordinary. Her debut album, "Goldmine," released on June 19, 2020, made a significant impact in the industry immediately. The record shattered records. Garnering nearly 16 million on-demand streams in its opening week. This not only solidified Barrett as a force to be reckoned with but also set a new record for the largest streaming week ever for a debut country album by a female artist.

Looking forward to seeing her rock our Bangor Waterfront with the new song on June 22nd!
