Fresh Track: ‘Mercy’ [POLL]

A song based on a true story. A former flame inspired the song, and actually other songs on his debut album too. He says everyone can relate to someone who continues to poke their head into your life and not let you move on.

The record label said they wanted more uptempo songs. And the co-writer said 'I don't really care about that. We're gonna write whatever we write today, and I want to write the best song we can' That's when the song came out, and it got written very quickly.

He's following up back to back #1 songs, 'Like I Loved You' and 'In Case You Didn't Know', and he's coming to Bangor September 13th, part of the Thomas Rhett concert.
