Half of the duet was supposed to be a big secret before the release of the song last Friday. And it was.  Until on Thursday when Carrie Underwood tweeted an emoji, suggesting it was her.

Speculation was it was going to be Jason Aldean’s wife Brittany who is a former contestant on American Idol.  Good tease.

Jason Aldean has done duets with Miranda Lambert, Kelly Clarkson, Kelsea Ballerini, Tyler Farr Ronnie Milsap, Luke Bryan, Eric Church and even rapper Ludacris

But the first person he asked this time as a duet partner said yes, it was just a matter of finding an opening in her schedule.
