Frank’s Bakery in Bangor Closed Due to Positive COVID Test
Frank's Bakery and Custom Catering is the latest business to shut down, temporarily, due to a positive COVID test.
The owners posted on the business's Facebook page Tuesday morning that one of their employees has tested positive for the virus. The staff member reported to the owners that they had come into contact with someone, outside of work, that had contracted the virus. They agreed to get tested and the results were positive for COVID-19.
Starting Tuesday, Frank's Bakery will be closed, to allow other staff members to get tested, as well. So far, it doesn't appear that any of the bakery's employees are showing symptoms, but they want to be as cautious as possible to keep themselves and their customers safe.
The State Street bakery will be closed on Tuesday and could remain closed through the end of the week. Updates will be posted on the business's Facebook page.
