Emera Maine Plans Downtown Bangor Power Outage

Downtown Bangor residents may loose power this week.

Emera Maine will be working in Downtown Bangor this week. The work will require a power interruption to select areas. The planned outage will start at midnight on Friday (Feb. 23) at midnight. Crews will be performing maintenance on an electrical system in the area.

Areas that will be affected include 25-29 Broad Street. 35, 48, 52 and 56 Main Street, and 8 and 22 Merchants Plaza.

The outage is expected to last approximately five hours.
