Post Labor Day Blues? Become a Maine Pirate!
Are you bummed over the end of Labor Day weekend and the inevitable close of summer 2024? Lament not, for the town of Eastport will be hosting their pirate festival once again this weekend.
The Eastport Pirate Festival always takes place on the weekend after Labor Day, and this year it will be on September 6th through September 8th. This will be the 19th year for the popular and ever-growing festival that encourages buccaneers and swashbucklers of all ages to dress up and enjoy a family-friendly weekend of activities.
When and Where and How Much is the Maine Eastport Pirate Festival?
The festival is rain or shine, and most vendors and events will take place on Water Street in downtown Eastport. You can keep up to date on scheduling delays or any potential changes that may transpire by following the Eastport Pirate Festival Facebook page.
There be no need to plunder, as the festival is FREE. Parking is also free, but some spots in downtown may have a time limit. Most vendors take card, but it is recommended to bring cash just in case. If you have any further questions, you may find your answer here.
