Brewer Police Charge Three In Drug Bust In Burger King Parking Lot [UPDATE]
Three people face drug charges after they were found passed out in a car in the Burger King parking lot.
Brewer Police responded at around noon Thursday to a report of three people who were unconscious in the Brewer parking lot. Responding officers found a vehicle partially pulled into a parking space with the trio inside.
Upon arrival, officers were able to wake the males and observed evidence of drug use, according to a news release. A search of the vehicle produced diverted pharmaceutical drugs, police said.
Robert Winters, 60, of Orland was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of drugs, violation of bail and operating after suspension.
Trevor King, 22, of Bucksport was charged with unlawful possession of drugs.
A 17-year-old boy from Bucksport was charged with unlawful possession of drugs. The minor was released into the custody of his parents.
