Concord Coach Lines has decided to suspend its operations temporarily after learning a person with COVID-19 had ridden a bus several times.

In a notice on the company's website, it was announced that the bus service will be suspended, effective March 28, until further notice. Buses will be running on the current schedule throughout the day on Friday, March 27. The decision was made, according to the notification, with the health and safety of their "employees, passengers, and communities in mind."

WABI-TV reports that Concord had transported a person with COVID-19 four times earlier this month between Concord, New Hampshire and Boston's Logan Airport. The person rode the buses on March 11, March 13, March 14, and March 16.
