Those who ride the Community Connector are now required to wear face coverings.

All passengers who ride the Community Connector bus system must wear a face covering. The new rule goes into effect April 27. Passengers must wear a mask or cloth, such as a bandana, scarf, or other material that can cover both their nose and mouth.

Those who do not wear a face covering when boarding a bus, and while riding a bus, are subject to denial of boarding, removal, or exclusion from Community Connector buses, according to a press release from Bus Superintendent, Laurie Linscott of Community Connector.

Passengers are reminded that they should only use public transportation if it's absolutely necessary. Riders must have an essential destination, such as work at an essential business, grocery store, or to seek medical care.
