Biggest Ever Shriners Parade Saturday in Brewer & Bangor
Anah Shriners of Bangor will be hosting the Northeast Shrine Association this weekend. Shriners from all over New England and Canada will be here for the events.
And a big event for the public will be held on Saturday, Sept. 17.
All the Shriners will participate in a massive parade Saturday afternoon beginning at 2 p.m.
The parade will consist of local Anah Shriners and also Shriners from the 16 other Shrine Centers, in town for the convention.
The parade begins at 2 p.m. Saturday in Brewer at Wilson Street and Acme Road and proceeds along Wilson Street to the Joshua Chamberlain Bridge, over the bridge into Bangor onto Union Street, and to Main Street. Along Main Street to Exchange Street.
Then the motorized participants of the parade will return to Brewer across the Penobscot River Bridge and then along Penobscot Street, Parker Street, and Wilson Street until the parade start at Wilson Street and Acme Road
Motorized units. Highlander units. Bands. Clowns
Safe to say nobody conducts a parade like the Shriners, and this one is being billed as the biggest ever in the Northeast.
