Subject of Silver Alert Found Safe
Presque Isle Police say a missing man and the subject of a Silver Alert has been found safe.
Bangor Police issued a Silver Alert for Joseph Dalessandrids, who was last seen on Monday, August 22nd at approximately 2:49 in the afternoon in Bangor. At that time, he had been seen walking out of Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, where he has been hospitalized with a traumatic brain injury since he was involved in a crash a month ago.
On Tuesday, Presque Isle Police reported that Dallesandrids had been seen in their area. Witnesses said he was wearing a red/blue t-shirt and blue jeans. He's described as a white male, 5'10" tall, 175 pounds, with gray hair and blue eyes.
Wednesday evening, Maine Department of Public Safety spokesperson Shannon Moss reported Mr. Dallesandrids has been found and is safe.
