The folks at the Bangor Parks and Rec Department are aware of just how tricky fitting a date night into a schedule can be for most parents, so they've organized a special "Valentine's Parent Night Out" for this coming Friday night.

It's a chance for parents to drop their kids off in safe hands, to be looked after, fed, and entertained, and to spend some quality time together for a change.

According to the Bangor Parks and Recreation Website, the service is being offered between 5:30 and 8:30 PM on Friday, February 10th.

"Our amazing staff will keep kiddos entertained with dinner, games, and crafts, and end the night with a movie while parents enjoy a quiet evening to themselves.  After dinner, we will enjoy some active games in the gym followed by cookie decorating and a Valentine's Day craft. At the end of the night, we will wrap up with a movie! "
