Ahead of the colder months, the Bangor Humane Society has issued a public request for help in keeping their animals as cozy as possible.

If you’re looking to clear out some blankets before the holiday season and want them to go toward a good cause, this might be the perfect fit for you.

On Thursday, October 30th, the Bangor Humane Society posted on Facebook asking for help keeping their pets warm this season.

They said temperatures are dropping, and they need blanket donations of all sizes so that dogs and cats of every kind can stay cozy through the chilly nights.

Blanket donations can be dropped off at 693 Mt. Hope Ave. in Bangor, or shipped directly, and the Humane Society also has an Amazon wish list for other needed items.

The Bangor Humane Society reminds supporters not to send pillows, foam mattress toppers, or electric blankets, as these can be a health hazard if chewed.
