Bangor Firefighters Exceed Black Friday MDA Fundraising Goal
In six hours the Bangor Firefighters collected more than what they hoped to gather for Muscular Dystrophy Association of Maine.
Black Friday shoppers donated generously last week. Bangor Professional Firefighters set up a charitable 'toll booth' at the intersection of Bangor Mall Blvd and Hogan Road. $13,904.00 was collected throughout the morning and early afternoon. Their goal was to raise $13,000.
This year they've raised over $32,000 for MDA of Maine, not including the nearly $14,000 collected on Black Friday.
Over the past decade Bangor Firefighters have collected over $250,000 for MDA.
Folks can still donate online, here.
