Two shows over the weekend drew thousands of people to the Bangor Waterfront. Generous concert goers chipped in to support Mainers living with Muscular Dystrophy.

Over the weekend Kid Rock, A Thousand Horses, Keith Urban and Kelsea Ballerini took to the stage on the Bangor Waterfront. For many years Bangor Firefighters have been helping Mainers living with Muscular Dystrophy. Their 'Fill the Boot' campaign encourages folks to toss some spare change into the boot off-duty firefighters are carrying around.

All that change added up to thousands of dollars. According to the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Maine, Bangor Professional Firefighters IAFF Local 772 collected $4,000 from concert goers.

'Fill The Boot' collections will continue throughout the summer at the remaining Waterfront shows.
