Bangor Dad Arrested In Investigation Into Child’s Injuries

A Bangor man has been arrested and charged with aggravated assault, the result of a police investigation into serious injuries suffered by his two-month-old son.

Joensen Jean, 25, was arrested Dec. 22 by Bangor police officers, according to a news release Thursday from the Bangor Police Department.

Jean was being held Thursday at the Penobscot County Jail in Bangor.

No further details about the boy's injuries were included in the release. Police said the investigation is ongoing.
