Actual Traffic Advisory Warns Of Caterpillars In The Road

An actual traffic advisory for Blue Hill warns of slippery conditions, due to caterpillars in the road.

We're not sure of the details of this warning, only that apparently there are a LOT of caterpillars on the Mines Road in Blue Hill. So, use caution in that area, especially if you're on a motorcycle or bike.

In Orrington, we currently have signs up, all over town, warning of turtle crossings. (thanks to a wonderful group of Girl Scouts!) But, I've never seen caterpillar warnings before! #onlyinmaine
