A Maine TikTok Star Visited ‘Gardens Aglow’ & You Should Too!

You definitely need to put a road trip to Costal Maine Botanical Gardens on your holiday to-do list!

TikTok is one of the more entertaining forms of social media. At first, I was not on board at all, but I have slowly warmed up to it. So many weird fads, trends, and challenges have come from the millions and millions of folks who use it on a daily basis.

It has made stars out of everyday ordinary people, just posting fun clips, but it isn't limited to just being, one woman from the Bath area has used her huge popularity on the site, to give back to some deserving folks.

Meredith Steele, who goes by babiesofsteele on TikTok, has an impressive 908,000 followers, and made headlines when she put out a Venmo challenge to give "life-changing" donations to servers and wait staff at various Maine restaurants throughout the state

She also posts fun clips too. Meredith recently visited the beautiful, Gardens Aglow holiday event in Boothbay Harbor

If you want to branch out and try something completely different this Christmas season, this one of a kind event will make family holiday memories that you won't soon forget.

Gardens Aglow in Boothbay, at Maine Costal Botanical Gardens, is set to return for their eighth annual seasonal celebration. During that pesky pandemic, it became a drive-thru event, but this year they are set to go back to their roots as a self guided walking experience.

Bask in the glow of over 750,000 dazzling LED lights woven through 14 acres of central gardens. and a new, reimagined design. This is a once in a lifetime experience to explore one of the brightest and best light displays in New England!

The event runs Thursday-Sunday, until December 31st, plus select dates

Here is how the ticket prices break down:

Adults: $18, Seniors (65+): $16, Children (3-17): $10, Family (2 adult/2 children): $45, Child under 3: free

Members prices are Adult: $14, Child: $8

All tickets must be purchased in advance.

Arrival times are at 4:00 p.m., 5:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m.

Gardens Aglow will be closed on Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day

Keep in mind that Gardens Aglow can be a very crowded event, and that ticketing and concessions take place indoors.

Parking is limited, so they ask that you carpool with family and friends.
