Perhaps, like me, you'll be suggesting some meal ideas to those responsible for cooking, because I should not have that responsibility – it would ruin the holidays. Ham: Who doesn't love a good Easter ham, right? It's a traditional dish that's always a hit and is usually the star of the show. Whether it's baked or glazed with a variety of spices and herbs, it's always mouthwatering. Plus, it's usually served with some tasty veggies like roasted carrots or green beans.

Deviled eggs: Deviled eggs are one of those classic Easter appetizers that everyone loves. You boil the eggs, cut them in half, and then fill them with a mixture of egg yolks, mayonnaise, mustard, and other seasonings. Then you top them off with some paprika, chives, or herbs. Yum!

Scalloped potatoes: If you're looking for a creamy and indulgent side dish, then scalloped potatoes are the way to go. Thinly sliced potatoes layered with a rich cheese sauce and baked until golden and bubbly? Yes, please!

Sweet potatoes: Sweet potatoes are a delicious and healthy option for a side dish at Easter. Whether you bake, mash, or roast them, they're always a crowd-pleaser. Plus, seasoning them with cinnamon, nutmeg, and other warm spices makes them even more irresistible.

Rolls: Warm, buttery rolls are a staple for any holiday meal, and Easter is no exception. Whether you prefer wheat, white, or sourdough, they're always a hit.

Fried cabbage and bacon: For a savory and flavorful side dish, try frying up some cabbage and bacon. It's quick, easy, and oh-so-tasty. Just sauté the chopped cabbage and bacon until they're tender and crispy, and then season with salt, pepper, and other spices.

Green bean casserole: You can't go wrong with a classic green bean casserole at Easter. Made with canned green beans, cream of mushroom soup, and crispy fried onions, it's a comforting and satisfying side dish that's sure to please.

Cheesy hash brown casserole: Another indulgent side dish option is a cheesy hash brown casserole. Made with shredded potatoes, cheese, cream, and other ingredients, it's baked until golden and bubbly. So rich and delicious!

Prime rib: If you're feeling fancy and want to go all out, prime rib is the way to do it. It's a luxurious and flavorful main course that's sure to impress. Season it with your favorite herbs and spices for extra flavor.

Snow pudding: For a light and airy dessert, try making snow pudding. It's made with whipped egg whites, sugar, and gelatin and is usually served with a fruit sauce or whipped cream. Perfect for a sweet treat after a heavy meal.

Rice and pineapple: For a sweet and tropical side dish, try making rice and pineapple. It's made with white rice, pineapple chunks, and a sweet and tangy sauce made with brown sugar, vinegar, and other ingredients. It's a delicious and unique addition to any Easter meal.

So, if you're still unsure of what to make for Easter this year, take a cue from… yourself and consider one of these dishes. Whether you choose any, all, or none of the above, we're sure that your Easter Sunday meal will be a hit with your folks, family, and friends. Good luck!
