The Skowhegan State Fair is Underway!

Large crowds are expected as the oldest fair in Maine opens its doors for its 194th year. The Skowhegan State Fair kicks off Thursday at the Skowhegan State Fairgrounds. It continues for 10 days of rides, animal exhibits and competitions, music, demolition derbies, harness racing and other entertainment. The fair is billed as the nation’s longest continuously operating agricultural fair and draws up to 100,000 people a year. Q-106.5 will once again be sponsoring the Demolition Derby on Friday the 10th, Monday the 13th and Friday the 17th all at 7:00pm, in front of the Grandstands. Also, we’ll be sponsoring the Truck Pulls slated for Saturday August 11 and Saturday, August 18 at 6:30 pm! Hope to see you all at The Skowhegan State Fair! See the complete schedule of events here…
