The fire was reported last night around 10:30 on the Barrows road in the Oxford County Town of Sumner.

Public Safety Spokesman Steve McCausland says the occupants of the home are currently unaccounted for.

A Bangor man faces an arson charge in connection with a garage fire last month, and a second garage fire in the city remains under investigation.

Fire Marshal’s Office Investigator Says Arson

Investigators with the Bangor Fire Department, Bangor Police, and the state Fire Marshal's office have been poring over evidence this morning following a garage fire in Bangor last evening.

Sgt. Tim York says last evening's fire on Lincoln street was deliberately set.
