Sugarland's comeback single isn't here yet, but whet your appetite with a snippet of the track! The newly-reunited duo gave their fans a little holiday treat, sharing a sampling of "Still the Same" on Thursday (Dec. 14).

The song offers a mellow but catchy melody and is heavy on acoustic guitar. As anticipated, Jennifer Nettles is at the mic on lead vocals, singing about still being the same person in a relationship, despite changes: "Don't be afraid to change / Our love is still the same / Still the same / Still the same / And here we were / We've come so far / Let's leave it better than how it came."

Kristian Bush provides backing vocals.

"FaLaLaLaLa! We are ONE week away from the release of our new single #StillTheSame. Who wants to hear a snippet?" the duo playfully write on their Facebook page with a video showing them doing a photo shoot for an upcoming album. The single art is displayed at the end of the clip, featuring Bush smiling softly at Nettles, who is looking at the camera.

Sugarland thrilled fans everywhere when they announced after the 2017 CMA Awards that they are reuniting for the first time since their 2013 hiatus. In addition to the single, the duo will put out a new album and go on tour in 2018.

"Still the Same" drops in full on Dec. 21.
