High today in Bangor expected to be 50. Remember it is  December 6th.

If you are starting to get used to these mild temperatures this month, and starting to get used to the precipitation this month being rain instead of snow in the Bangor area, and you are wondering if you’re dreaming that these are ‘normal’, sorry you’re wrong.

And we may well still get all those 74.6inches of snow this winter, and who knows maybe lots more.  However it sure looks like we are off to a slow start, as we are not that far away from the actual beginning of winter.

So I’m no Meteorologist, but we are milder and more often than not have snow on the ground by this time in December.

However, I am also enough of a Mainer to know this all might go out the window with a big time snowfall soon.

Even though it’s not in the forecast.
