Randy Travis's 'I Told You So' Meaning Still Endures

While cruising some of my favorite websites, I stopped by CMT to catch some the latest news. And while there I found a nice but profound post about Randy Travis and his hit, 'I Told You So.' It was a song that hit the number one spot on the charts in 1988. I remember it well. But more today think it was a song made famous by Carrie Underwood. Suffice it to say, Underwood knows a great song when she hears one. She did it justice for sure.

It has been unfortunate that country legend, Randy Travis, struggled so much psychologically and physically these past few years. I for one am brokenhearted that his life has taken some rather sad turns after such a stellar career. He's still one of my all-time favorites.

Send up a few prayers for 'ol Randy. Let's not forget what he gave us, and take a moment to enjoy one incredible song by one incredible artist.
