An investigation into a series of burglaries resulted in two arrests on drug charges and the seizure of over $30,000 in drugs. In addition, evidence from the burglaries was recovered.

Augusta Deputy Chief Jared Mills said in a press release that a search warrant was executed at a home on River Street on Wednesday afternoon. In addition to evidence from the thefts, detectives seized 1250 bags of Heroin, 24 grams of Cocaine, 13 grams of Bath Salts, and over 100 marijuana plants. The drugs had a total value over thirty thousand dollars.

Franklin Arbour Jr., age 38 of Augusta is charged with 3 counts of aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs, 2 counts of unlawful trafficking of scheduled drugs, 2 counts of unlawful possession of scheduled drugs and aggravated cultivation of marijuana. He's being held at Kennebec County Jail on $50,000 cash bail.

Angie Sousa, age 32 of Augusta, is charged with 2 counts of unlawful trafficking of scheduled drugs, 2 counts of unlawful possession of scheduled drugs, aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs, and aggravated cultivation of marijuana. She's being held at Kennebec County Jail on $25,000 cash bail.
